Hummingbird Cove began with a shared understanding — that childcare should feel calm, thoughtful, and deeply supportive, not rushed or impersonal.
After years of working in childcare, we saw firsthand how often centres, families, and events were left trying to make things work without the support they truly needed.
We knew there could be something different.
What started as on-call childcare support quickly became something more.
As we stepped into different spaces — busy classrooms, special events, and community settings — we realized the impact of simply showing up with care, presence, and intention.
Hummingbird Cove grew into a way to bring that feeling wherever children are.
